The mining parts analyst works with a cross-functional team of site planners, corporate analysts, logistics expeditors and fleet analysts to ensure mine site parts fill rates are meeting customer expectations. The role requires this individual to collect data and input from many sources to perform analysis for future machine rebuilds and new machine stocking requirements. Collecting data on past performance and developing reporting metrics to help monitor progress is paramount to the role. Involved in the placing and tracking of orders at key times of the year (summer sealift), while ensuring the logístical chain meets the shipping windows for some key mine sites. CRC planning support can also occur in this role.

**In a typical day, YOU will**:

- Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times, in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
- Consolidate data from the plan for every serial number initiative and use it develop ordering process for future dated orders for specific mine sites.
- Gather information from various sources, analysis and discussions with internal groups such as the site PSMs, Planners and other corp parts analysts in order to forecast 24 months ahead
- Place future orders to ensure the supply chain can provide the required components to minimize customer downtime
- Review inventory levels, parts fill rates by site and discuss any roadblocks regarding orders and with the Site Parts Team and PSM to improve the logistics process in collaboration with the Planning Manager
- Help coordinate buy back requests or large mine site returns.
- Propose, forecast and order parts using planning software required for our customer mine sites to ensure PLESN strategy is met.
- Provide planning support to the CRC with respect to specific mine site requirements.

**Must-haves for this role**:

- Post-Secondary Education with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related industry and highly safety conscious
- 3-5 years of DBS experience
