Warranty Analyst

Toromont Cat is looking for a Warranty analyst to join the Corporate Warranty team This position processes the claims to the suppliers for the warranty repairs, in an accurate and timely manner to insure the maximum financial recovery.

**In a typical day, YOU will**:

- Review and analyze the Warranty repair jobs, validate the warranty coverage as per the warranty guidelines and policies and submit the warranty claims to suppliers
- Liaison with service operations to provide all required information and documents to maximize the warranty recoveries.
- Follow up on claims payment, review settlements and challenge suppliers’ decision on short paid or denied claims
- Assist branches/other internal customer for warranty related questions and communicate helpful information
- Effectively communicate, train, and follow (audit) existing policies and changes
- Participate/contribute to the continuous process/ system improvement
- Any other relevant task related to the warranty claims administration, processes, systems, procedures, reports

**Must-haves for this role**:

- Diploma of Collegial or University Studies, mechanics or any other combination of relevant training and experience in Heavy Equipment or equivalent
- The ability to express yourself in both English and French is an advantage
