**Overview**:
Caregivers Nova Scotia is seeking a dynamic and organized Project Coordinator to lead a social prescription project. The project will increase support and access for family and friend caregivers across Nova Scotia. It seeks to enhance partnerships within the healthcare system, expand services to underserved populations, and promote social prescribing to be included in provincial funding.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Project Leadership**:

- Plan, implement, and manage the social prescription project to meet organizational goals and deadlines.
- Work with internal team and external partners to achieve project milestones.
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including work plan, reports, and evaluation metrics.

**Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Build and strengthen relationships with Nova Scotia Health, healthcare workers, and community organizations to increase awareness of Caregivers Nova Scotia.
- Organize workshops, presentations, and meetings to promote the project and its benefits.
- Be the primary contact for everyone involved in the project.

**Outreach and Support Expansion**:

- Find ways to reach underserved populations across Nova Scotia.
- Collaborate with Communicator to create materials and campaigns for caregivers.
- Analyze referral trends from health professionals to improve the project.

**Advocacy and Reporting**:

- Collect and analyze data to demonstrate the project’s benefits for caregivers and health outcomes.
- Prepare and present progress reports to funders, stakeholders, and internal team.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, social work, project management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in healthcare or social services.
- Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with social prescribing and the Nova Scotia healthcare system is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
