**The opportunity**:
Under the general supervision of the Education Manager, Business Manager, Program Director and Associate Program Director of Anesthesia, the position is responsible for the overall administration and coordination of the Residency Program, within the Department. Works closely with the primary administrator to serve as a point of contact for the residency program and support the Program Director and Associate Program Director

**The qualifications and experience we’re looking for**:
**MINIMUM FORMAL EDUCATION/TRAINING**:

- Completion of a formal training program in a related discipline (e.g. Health Services Management or Human Resources-related) from a recognized institute plus four years of directly related experience.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Four years of experience in administration of a medical education program (UGME or PGME) in a University Clinical Department position.
- Knowledge of University and/or Shared Health policies and procedures are considered an asset.
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

**SKILLS AND ABILITY**:

- Scheduling large numbers of students or staff and rotational schedules across multiple program and functional areas is required.
- Attention to detail required.
- Working independently with a strong initiative to complete and follow up on tasks is required.
- Scheduling large volumes of meetings, other events, or interviews at once is required.
- Experience in Entrada Curriculum Management is required.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete complex secretarial, clerical or basic accounting routines.
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills required.
- Ability to exercise tact and discretion and tactfully navigate situations of conflict is required.
- Ability to work effectively independently as well as part of a team environment is required.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early morning meetings, evening and weekend events as required.
- Ability to manage highly confidential information required.
- Organized, detail-oriented with a well-established process for planning workload is required.
- A satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.

**OTHER JOB-RELATED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Some knowledge of scientific/clinical/medical terminology an asset
- Previous experience with curriculum management systems is an asset
