1866NOENTRY.COM Systems Ltd. designs and manufactures advanced mobile security towers, AI-enabled video surveillance systems, and hybrid power solutions used across construction sites, commercial properties, and critical infrastructure throughout Canada.

We are expanding our in-house manufacturing team and are looking for a hands-on Electronics Manufacturing Technician to support assembly, testing, and continuous improvement of our security hardware platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, wire, and integrate electronic and electro-mechanical components for:
  • Mobile security towers
  • AI camera systems
  • Networking, power, and control enclosures
  • Read and follow schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and work instructions
  • Perform testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and basic diagnostics
  • Assist with prototype builds and product improvements
  • Conduct burn-in / life testing and document results
  • Support inventory control, kitting, and production workflow
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations on process improvements

Required Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education or diploma in:
  • Electronics Engineering Technology
  • Electronics Manufacturing
  • Security Systems
  • OR equivalent hands-on experience
  • Experience with:
  • Low-voltage electronics
  • Wiring, connectors, power supplies, PoE, cameras, routers
  • Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
  • Proficient with hand and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Comfortable performing repetitive assembly tasks

Assets (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with CCTV, IP cameras, networking equipment
  • Basic understanding of DC power systems (12V / 24V / 48V)
  • Experience with outdoor enclosures, trailers, or industrial equipment
  • Soldering experience
  • Forklift or equipment handling experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable working in a shop and light field-assembly environment
