We are a family practice located in central Coquitlam and we are looking for a part-time Medical Office Assistant who is compassionate, self-directed, and detail-oriented to join and grow with our team. You will be responsible for all aspects of the daily functioning of a busy office for five physicians, six nurse practitioners and a part-time internal medicine specialist.

**Qualifications**:
Previous experience as an MOA in a medical office is a must (at least 2 years)
Completion of a Medical Office Assistant program is an asset, but not required with the right experience
Previous experience with OSCAR electronic medical record system is an asset

**Duties (**_include, but not limited to_**)**:
Answering the phone
Calling patients to book appointments
Processing EMR messages
Dealing with patients when checking in, confirming/updating their contact information, scheduling appointments, and answering questions they may have
Processing mail, scans, and faxes
Cleaning exam rooms and preparing or stocking rooms with the necessary supplies or when needed
Bringing patients into the exam rooms
Processing medical equipment when patients' vitals are needed (height/length, weight, BP, urinalysis, etc.)

Your duties would be specific to the position you are working for that particular day.

**IMPORTANT**:
This **part-time** position posting is for **3-4 days per week** -- the days of the week are to be determined still. There may be opportunity to get additional hours for relief coverage or when additional support is needed.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 - 30 per week
