**OVERVIEW**:
The Community Impact Coordinator will support the Corporate Relations division in maximizing our engagement and participation in the community. This includes external sponsorships, corporate sponsorships in support of business objectives, and a growing number of community outreach initiatives such as our Street Team and Grant Programs. This is a hybrid work style with one day per week in the office.
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:
- Support the Community Impact team in evaluating sponsorships and involvements including both community and corporate involvements.
- Organize and schedule Street Team and mascot activations.
- Travel and attend sponsored events on behalf of the Community Impact team.
- Provide support for offsite activations through sponsorships and involvements.
- Maintain and track corporate sponsorship records.
- Administration responsibilities include assisting with contract requests, processing invoices, coordinating distribution of promotional items, and managing inventory.
- Provide support and administrative tasks for Community impact-led programs.
- Provide meeting support including scheduling, agenda preparation, minute-taking, and distribution.
- Occasional evening and weekend work will be required for events and activations.
- This position is primarily work from home with one mandatory office day a week for the whole team. Additional office days may be required during busy times.
- Occasional travel across the province may be required.
**WHAT YOU WILL HAVE**:
- Minimum of two years relevant experience in sponsorship or community investment.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and managing large amounts of data.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, listening, written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience handling agreements and coordinating deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to be adaptable in a quickly changing environment, anticipate needs and make decisions.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Self-motivated with previous experience managing multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
- Ability to manage priorities in working with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Must be self-motivated and energetic, with the ability to work with little supervision in a team environment.
- Relevant post-secondary education.
- A passion for community connection and fostering authentic relationships.
- A high standard of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
- High level of professionalism and service orientation.
- Access to a personal vehicle and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift boxes 20 to 30 pounds.
