As a member of the Kitchen department, your role will include setting and maintaining attractive fresh displays, package and wrap customer orders, and assure that all objectives and goals of the department and store, as communicated by the Market Manager, and leadership team, are met or exceeded. You will ensure a positive company image by providing legendary customer service.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Give every customer immediate and undivided attention.
- Take special orders.
- Follow through on all customer questions and requests.
- Offer suggestions and recommendations.
- Portion, cut, and slice various products.
- Weigh products on scales and utilize label printer based on the product.
- Properly package and wrap products for retail sale.
- Follow established food safety procedures.
- Keep all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked and properly rotated.
- Maintain accurate retail pricing and signage.
- Be aware of new products, features, and their placement.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Team Lead/Market Manager.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous Customer Service Experience.
- Familiarity with different types of deli meats and optional cuts.
- Basic knife skills.
- Food Safety Certification (preferred).
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Can lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must be self-motivated and solution oriented.
- Is available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department.
- WHIMS certification requirement (Sunterra will provide online training)
- Food Safety certification requirement (Sunterra will provide online training)
