**About the Role**

The **Sales Manager** is responsible for leading and guiding the sales team to achieve company targets. This role involves setting clear sales goals, developing and implementing strategic plans, and providing motivation, training, and performance feedback to ensure team success.

**Primary responsibilities include**:

- Tracking and analyzing sales metrics to drive performance.
- Managing customer relationships to enhance retention and growth.
- Collaborating with marketing, customer service, and other departments to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on sales performance.
- Identifying challenges, adjusting strategies, and implementing solutions to optimize results.

Ultimately, the Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue growth, improving team efficiency, and ensuring the long-term success of the sales organization

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to drive growth and exceed targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technical business development executives.
- Foster a results-driven, high-energy sales culture that promotes collaboration and innovation.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new BDEs.
- Implement and manage weekly outbound engagement campaigns through Apollo.
- Build and maintain strategic drip campaigns in HubSpot to nurture existing accounts.
- Expand and optimize the online store to drive lead generation and achieve ecommerce targets.
- Implement and optimize CRM workflows to enhance efficiency and reporting.
- Ensure seamless coordination between sales, marketing, operations, and customer success teams.
- Monitor sales metrics, analyze trends, and refine strategies to maximize performance.
- Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and revenue optimization.
- Train new business development executives on products, sales processes, CRM tools, and best practices.
- Set and track individual and team sales targets, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Ensure timely follow-ups on leads, customer inquiries, and RFPs.
- Conduct outbound sales calls and follow-ups to drive conversions.
- Coordinate client demos with the training specialist to enhance engagement.
- Promote new products and services to existing and prospective clients.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
- Continuously propose innovative strategies to expand market share.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction through exceptional service and support.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management

**Skills and Competencies**
- Proficient in industry software (AutoCAD, Global Mapper or similar) with expertise in topographic, control surveys, and mapping techniques.
- Skilled in operating base stations, total stations, TLS and handheld scanner
- Strong experience processing large point cloud datasets into accurate 2D/3D deliverables, including BIM models.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; adept at writing proposals, technical reports, and presentations.
- Skilled at conveying technical details in accessible terms, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Highly motivated self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptable and able to shift focus to meet changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Forward-thinking and comfortable exploring creative solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong overall computer competency.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Experience in B2B sales, enterprise sales, or technical sales, preferably in the drone, technology, or eCommerce industry.
- Strong experience with CRM platforms and sales automation tools
- Familiarity with eCommerce strategies and optimizing online sales channels.
- Experience managing outbound sales campaigns and account-based selling strategies.
