**The Role**:
As a Payroll Administrator, you will help implement new procedures, and scale our US payroll operations. You'll work with the team to provide exceptional service to clients, and oversee. You are a project management with accounting or payroll knowledge that thinks critically and analytically to provide unique solutions to complex problems. You thrive in fast-paced environments and can adapt to any situation. You are an initiator and an executor. Managing multiple tasks at a given time is second-nature to you.

**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure accounts are setup correctly during client onboarding
- Perform audits on data and system maintenance
- New hire reporting, tax form processing, local taxes, direct deposit setup, benefits setup, terminations and garnishment processing
- Maintain process documentation and confidential filings
- Provide client support in all areas of the organization in the United States
- Help clients with ACA filing requirements
- Assist with Quarterly and Year-end filings, ensure filings are processed in a timely manner for clients and reconciliations are completed
- Assist with submitting Fed, State, Local tax payments and filings.
**Previous Experience**:
- Payroll: 1 year (preferred)
- Affordable Care Act: 1 year (required)
- Tax filing/payments: 1 year (required)
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- You have 2+ years of payroll experience
- You have a post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting
- You are extremely proficient with software systems that may include Microsoft Office, ADP, Sage 50, or QuickBooks
- You are an excellent communicator, both written and oral
- You have a natural ability to analyze data and are solution-oriented
- You are extremely ethical, and know how to handle confidential information in a professional manner
- You have detailed knowledge of full-cycle payroll in addition to accounting practices and principles
- You take initiative in every role and can work independently with little supervision
- Experience with submitting and reviewing Fed 941/944, state, state unemployment tax filings and payments.
