**Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
**Role Overview**

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented **Human Resources Specialist** to join our HR team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to contribute to both the operational and cultural aspects of the HR function.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide comprehensive administrative support across all core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and claims management.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential employee records; ensure the integrity of all HR databases and systems.
- Organize and coordinate employee training sessions, professional development initiatives, succession planning efforts, and company-wide townhalls.
- Reinforce company policies and procedures; mediate internal conflicts to foster a positive, respectful, and compliant work environment.
- Prepare and manage reports, correspondence, and documentation to support HR initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, compensation, and benefits.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems, internal processes, and overall employee engagement strategies.
- Ensure company-wide compliance with Health and Safety regulations and best practices.
- Manage and follow up on all Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) claims and related documentation.
- Provide project-based support to the management team as needed.
- Offer backup assistance for payroll processing to maintain continuity and accuracy.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Experience in HR or payroll coordination, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of employment regulations and payroll processes.
- Comfortable using MS Office tools, especially Excel; familiarity with HR or payroll software is a bonus.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

**KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- HRM Diploma or Bachelors degree or equivalent experience of at least 3 years
- Experience in managing multiple priorities.

**Pay: $65,000 - $75,000 per year**

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
