We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our team at Cucina. As a member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of our Italian restaurant.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment and ensure all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients and menu items, following recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Empty and clean trash receptacles regularly to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the proper handling, storage, and disposal of food products.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed, such as food delivery, stocking supplies, or assisting with food service.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

**Salary**: $17.00-$21.00 per hour
