**Job Summary**
Potluck Café & Catering is seeking a reliable and proactive **Operations Assistant** to support the daily operations of our busy nonprofit catering service. This role acts as the key link between our clients and kitchen, ensuring that all catering orders are properly organized, communicated, and executed. The Operations Assistant will work closely with the Operations Manager to coordinate office logistics, prepare delivery schedules, and maintain smooth communication with clients.

**Duties**
- Organize and process incoming catering orders, ensuring all details are accurate and communicated to kitchen and delivery teams.
- Assist the Operations Manager with day-to-day administrative and logístical tasks.
- Maintain positive and professional communication with clients regarding their orders, changes, and follow-ups.
- Help prepare delivery schedules and assign drivers as needed.
- Support deliveries and act as a backup driver for large or high-volume events.
- Maintain order documentation, receipts, and invoices in an organized manner.
- Assist with event preparations and on-site logistics when required.
- Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

**Qualifications**
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License is required.
- Previous delivery experience is strongly preferred.
- Organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience in customer service, office support, or catering is an asset.
