**211 Nova Scotia is seeking a Community Resource Navigator.**

Navigator shifts are 8 hours and take place between the hours of 8am-9pm, Monday to Friday. This is a full-time position based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Our compensation plan includes competitive remuneration plus group health benefits.
- You possess a bachelor's degree in social sciences or human services, or a related degree, coupled with a minimum of three years relevant experience (or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience).
- You've demonstrated a desire and ability to help those in need, either through work or volunteer experience, while using an empathetic, non-judgmental and trauma informed approach.
- You are comfortable and have experience supporting people in crisis/distress
- Your core strengths include attention to detail with well-developed communication and decision-making skills.
- You have a proven ability to multi-task. At 211, this involves making accurate assessments from sensitive information, performing online searches, and entering information into a database while having a conversation and connecting with the caller.
- You are known to be flexible and willing to stretch into new skill areas and work opportunities.
- You can commit to a paid 5-week training program on site in Dartmouth.
