**Position Overview**

A Server with the Frontier BBQ and Smokehouse ensures that the overall dining experience of our Guests exceeds expectations by attending to their needs in the dining room. This Associate will be well-versed in all buffet food items and will be prepared to answer any inquiries regarding dietary restrictions. A Server will assist Guests with any requests in a calm and professional manner while also taking ownership of Guest issues when they arise. All Servers will also ensure that their section of the restaurant is fully attended to for the duration of their shift; this includes stocking and clearing tables (when needed).

**Experience**
- A minimum of 1 year serving experience is required; preferably in a similar buffet-style restaurant

**Skills**
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and to maximize guest experience
- Positive, professional and discreet presentation
- Ability to quickly respond to changing work volume with high energy and enthusiasm
- Ability to work cooperatively within a team or independently as required
- Adheres to escalation policy for Guest service complaints
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays)

**Physical Demands**
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time

**Requirements**:

- Smart Serve Certification
- Required to provide a certificate proving completion of the Health and Safety Awareness Training for Workers (e-course provided by the Ministry of Labour)
- Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to complete a Criminal Background Check to the hotel’s satisfaction
