Our focus is on programming and pedagogy that creates a first class educational experience for our students, and supporting faculty in their own professional development and research interests. In contrast to traditional Computer Science programs, our courses and programs are designed to support the integration of computation and data science throughout degree programs in Arts and Science.- Computer Science 101 (discipline overview) - Introductory programming (Python, C, C++) - Introductory micro-controller / robotics (Arduino) - Introductory Computational and Data Science - Command-line scripting and data wrangling - Applied databases - Social, economic, environmental impact of computing technologies As a small, high-functioning department at a teaching-oriented University, we are seeking a collegial, energetic, and innovative individual who can work within a creative, collaborative team.
