- Computer Science/Programming Tutor

**Requirements**:

- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (university students in 3rd and the 4th year of studies are welcome)
- Strong understanding of any or all following: Scratch,C language, Minecraft, Python, Java
- Experience in working with kids or teenagers, in personalized or group instruction;
- Past tutoring experience and **familiarity with AP/IB Curriculum or any programming contest**are definitely pluses.
- Are organized, motivated, and enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of students.
- Have strong communication skills in **English.**:

- **Weekend availability preferred.**

**Responsibility**:

- This position is available for part-time and full-time.
- All curriculum is ready to go but is always in the process of being revised as classes run.
- Instructors will be required to prepare for lessons, provide brief course outline before the beginning of a semester/term and give homework to students during the course
- Evaluate the take-home project and provide meaningful feedback of students’ performance
- must be legally authorized to work in Canada, and also past a background check as part of the on-boarding process.

**Compensation**: Negotiable, dependent on expertise

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
