The Geography Department is excited to contribute to two new degrees within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences starting in the Fall of 2025: the Bachelor of Environment and Society (Environmental Sciences) and the Bachelor of Environment and Society (Environmental Studies). These degrees will be housed within the Institute of Interdisciplinary Studies. Opportunities to teach these degree courses are planned for Capilano University’s North Vancouver and Squamish campuses.

**About the role**
- Prepare and deliver courses, including lectures, seminars, labs and field trips.
- Evaluate student learning through assessments and marking.
- Provide support to students through weekly office hours and advising.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain expertise and stay current with advancements and best practices in relevant fields of study.
- Create and update course materials, outlines, and curriculum.
- Participate in meetings, committees, and events at the program, department, faculty, and university levels.
