We are looking for a **Construction Estimator** to join our team

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Estimator to join our dynamic team at A&O Contracting Inc. As a Project Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in accurately assessing the costs and resources required for our projects, ensuring our clients receive precise and competitive estimates. This role requires a keen understanding of construction practices, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to review project specifications and requirements.
- Analyze blueprints, drawings, and other project documents to understand the scope of work involved.
- Conduct on-site assessments to gather information on project conditions and constraints.
- Utilize specialized software and tools to prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other project components.
- Research and source materials, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Develop detailed and comprehensive project proposals and bid packages.
- Communicate and negotiate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to finalize project estimates.
- Monitor industry trends and market fluctuations to ensure pricing remains competitive and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with the project management team to provide insight during project planning and execution phases.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Experience**:

- Construction Estimating Experience: 2 year (preferred)

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Project Estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on demolition and abatement projects (preferred)
- Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools (Planswift).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

**Join Our Team**:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
