- Negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids.
- Monitor project budgets throughout the construction process to identify any discrepancies or potential overruns.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and contracts for future reference.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials pricing, and construction techniques to provide informed estimates.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is required.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles as they relate to estimating processes.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimates.
