HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:

- Review and process invoices for payment, verifying the correct authorization, GL coding distribution, and associating with the correct purchase order or contract agreement.
- Communicate with Management, Project Managers and Vendors regarding any invoices, statements of work, purchase orders, or any other reconciliation requirements.
- Prioritize invoices according to payment terms, discount potential and other applicable prioritization factors.
- Completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices
- Maintain invoices, purchase orders, and agreement filings and associated documentation in a thorough, organized manner in accordance with established practices.
- Prepare month-end accruals and other closing duties as required.
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
- HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

- We are looking for someone with high degree of accuracy and attention to details.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and a Certified Accounts Payable Practitioner (CAPP) certification is as asset.
- Proven working experience as Accounts Payable Specialist
- Firsthand experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software e.g., Oracle, Coupa, SAP
- Bachelor's degree in BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
