Overview:
WORLDPAC Canada is seeking a Pricing and Product Analyst in Bolton, ON.

WORLDPAC, a subsidiary of Advance Auto Parts, imports and distributes original equipment and quality replacement automotive parts to select specialty import and domestic service centers. We are a National Wholesale Distributor with Canadian branch locations from coast to coast.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with vendors, management, and U.S. product team to onboard new products.
- Identify new products that can provide a high ROI to the company and our customers.
- Analyze internal data to activate new products for the Canadian market.
- Analyze branch inventories to ensure we have “The Right Part at the Right Time” for our customers.
- Identify key needs, perform gap analysis, assess new product ideas, determine opportunities, and participate in prioritization.
- Analyze and respond to competitive pricing concerns from internal account managers and the field sales team.
- Recommend optimal pricing strategies based on in depth analysis of competitive pricing data, research, and price match data from the sales team.
- Manage and co-ordinate all incoming competitive data to leverage regional and national pricing strategies.
- Line analysis of pricing strategies to recommend opportunities for growth through system generated reports and queries.
- Use internal company comparatives and industry knowledge to provide pricing recommendations for newly introduced products.
- Manage communications to the Sales Management team on major pricing initiatives and vendor price changes.
- Work with Sales Management to implement pricing strategies for promotions

Qualifications:

- Be a data driven analytical thinker
- Advanced Excel knowledge, (Vlookups, pivot tables, macros, formulas)
- Experience with IBM IBS operating systems preferred but not required.
- Knowledge and proficiency in AI platforms such as Chat GPT and others a bonus
- 3 to 5 years auto parts experience, (Retail, Wholesale or Commercial)
- Problem solver who can communicate across functional teams, (Sales, Marketing, Operations)
- Be organized and adept at prioritization with the ability to adjust to new information, goals and conflicting product priorities.

Pay Range: CAD $59,500.00 - CAD $74,500.00 /Yr.
