With a satellite distribution and light assembly facility Located in Markham, ON, Republic Packaging of Cananda is one of Chicago-based Republic Packaging Corp.'s eight North American operating locations. As a 60-year-old provider of cushion packaging Republic Packaging is known for outstanding design, quality, and customer service. In addition, we have a sister company, Impacte, which provides warehouse management services that can complement our packaging products or be a stand-alone service to provide solutions to our customers’ problems.

Focusing on the future and growth, we are actively working to grow our sales by 50% over the next 3 years and enter new markets with innovative packaging and service offerings. We are seeking an experienced Packaging Coordinator to join our team.

Role responsibilities:

- Coordinate inbound and outbound material flow for company-owned and customer-owned inventory.
- Collaborate with the customer, Customer Service and other internal stakeholders, ensuring finished good delivery times are met.
- Support inventory control functions including cycle counts and reconciliations.
- Participate in physical inventory activities.
- Process shipping and receiving documentation.
- Facilitate inbound material inspections, performing such when necessary.
- Coordinate schedules between the customer, Customer Service, Purchasing and transportation providers.
- Maintain a safe working environment and that equipment maintenance intervals are adhered to.
- Combine packaging components into kits as needed.
- Work within the company’s and customer’s WMS systems.
- Communicate any gaps or issues to company management.
- Liaise with customers and management regarding requirements.
- Gather customer-relevant information and share it with appropriate company contacts.

What you bring:

- Associate degree in Supply Chain or a Business discipline preferred.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Intermediate computer skills with familiarity with the MS Office Suite of programs.
- WMS and Oracle experience a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand/interpret technical drawings.
- Certification or ability to become certified for use of material handling equipment.
- Willingness to submit to and pass a customer-mandated background check.
- Ability to lift 25Kg and stand for long periods of time.
