Job Summary
The Human Resources Information Systems Analyst provides analytical and technical support to the Human Resources department related to HR systems. This includes maintaining quality and consistency of HRIS database information; ensuring personnel actions are in compliance with current Human Resources policies and guidelines; providing technical support to Human Resources as well as employees and managers.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the maintenance of the HR database (system and Excel) regarding inputs, data reliability and process mapping/tailoring needs.
- Support the translation of operational and functional HR requirements to system development partners.
- Manage HR needs with internal and external development partners
- Analyze, model and improve business processes, which includes facilitating working sessions so that internal client business processes are understood, shared and documented
- Be the HR focal point for system administrator users, supporting users when rolling out new features and/or solutions
- Support the development and implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Document and maintain user access rules to the platform
- Develop metrics report for system usage and trending analysis
- Create standard, advanced, matrix and composite reports while understanding business needs internal/external to HR
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer management systems or any other related field
- 2-4 years of experience in a role with HR lines of business
- Expertise in HR data management
- Experience participating in HR system implementation/management
- Knowledge of business process documentation techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including in-depth knowledge of Excel Ability to analyze and propose solutions to data and process issues
- Payroll knowledge
