Full Time Temporary Educational Assistant
St. John Paul II Catholic School is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 8 School
St. John Paul II Catholic School in Stony Plain, AB is currently seeking an Educational Assistant to assist students with diverse academic and social/emotional needs.
The assignment is to begin as soon as possible and end June 27, 2025 of the 2024-2025 school year.
Salary range $18.98 - $26.83 as per Support Terms and Conditions of Employment.
Experience utilizing strength-based, trauma informed practices
Experience working with students with diverse needs
Able to effectively deal with crisis situation; physically able to lift and/or protect
Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments training
Mental Health First Aid or equivalent
Diploma in child/youth care, Educational Assistant Certificate and experience with Speech/Language Assistance are assets
