We are looking to add 1 full-time TEMPORARY (with possibility of becoming permanent - maternity leave coverage), and 1 PERMANENT child care worker/early childhood educator to our team. Willingness to work with all age groups is required.

Our ideal candidates will be reliable, energetic, punctual, creative, organized, dedicated, and a team-player, with good communication skills who LOVES to work with children. A solid understanding of child development and behaviour is also required. Applicant must be willing to learn and implement a holistic-based curriculum.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED - Level 1, 2 or 3 Child Care certificate - Minimum 1 year of DAYCARE experience, and working knowledge of the Child Care Licensing Regulations

  • Must have, or be willing to get First Aid/CPR Level C within 30 days of employment

  • Clean criminal record check with vulnerable sector search

  • Must be available to work any 8 hour shift between 6am and 6pm Monday through Friday

Probation period of 3 months, after which we offer a generous extended health group benefits package.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Pay: $17.64-$26.62 per hour
