**Job Title: Community Engagement Coordinator**

**Location**: Three Robins, Stony Plain

**Overview**: Three Robins is an Independent Living Seniors Community dedicated to creating a vibrant, engaging environment for our residents through the Eden Alternative Philosophy. We believe in countering loneliness, helplessness, and boredom by fostering meaningful connections and providing a space where residents can thrive. Our volunteer engagement program is central to this mission, and we are looking for a compassionate, creative, and personable individual to join our team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Answer Inquiries**: Respond to inquiries from visitors, families, and potential residents with kindness and professionalism.
- **Facilitate and Schedule Activities**: Coordinate and schedule activities that promote engagement and socialization among residents.
- **Resident Information**: Ensure resident information is up-to-date and well organized.
- **Give Tours**: Provide tours of Three Robins to visitors, showcasing the amenities and highlighting the unique features of our community.
- **Track Participation**: Keep track of residents' participation in volunteer programs and other community activities.
- **Use Technology**: Comfortable using Microsoft and Google software for communication, scheduling, and record-keeping.
- **Be a Great Communicator**: Act as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, and families, providing clear communication and assistance as needed.
- **Have Fun**: Contribute to a fun and positive atmosphere, encouraging residents to actively participate in all activities and making their experience at Three Robins enjoyable.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Compassionate and caring personality with a genuine interest in helping others
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Creative and enthusiastic approach to problem-solving and activity planning
- Organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google software
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Previous experience in a similar role or working with seniors is an asset, but not required

**Work & Travel Requirements**

Schedule is Wednesday-Sunday, 8:30-5:00pm

Job will be full time until the end of August and then will be a casual position.

A security clearance with the vulnerable sector check is a condition of employment.

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
