As our Safety and Compliance Coordinator, you will play a vital role in maintaining our commitment to best-in-class safety and regulatory compliance. You’ll oversee company-wide adherence to federal, provincial, and industry regulations, while working closely with our operations and dispatch teams to ensure seamless communication and safe practices.
## **Key Responsibilities**:
- Monitor and enforce compliance with transportation safety regulations (DOT, CVOR, NSC, etc.)
- Maintain and update driver qualification files, vehicle maintenance records, and safety documentation
- Conduct audits and inspections, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate and facilitate employee safety training and certification programs
- Investigate incidents/accidents, prepare detailed reports, and lead preventative efforts
- Manage Hours of Service (HOS) compliance and ELD data
- Ensure timely processing and renewal of IFTA and IRP licensing
- Manage CTPAT and US DOT compliance requirements
- Oversee a streamlined driver hiring and orientation process.
- Schedule and facilitate safety meetings and training sessions for all staff
## **What You Bring**:
- Minimum 1 years of experience in a safety, compliance, or dispatching role within the transportation industry
- Strong command of transportation safety and compliance regulations
- Hands-on experience with ELD systems and fleet management software
- Excellent organizational, investigative, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with diverse teams, thriving in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $38,588.42-$80,995.47 per year
Work Location: In person
