Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources (HR) Advisor will partner with leadership teams and Clinic Operations to support organizational change, culture development, business, and people strategies across multiple customer-facing locations in two provinces.
The HR Advisor will support all HR initiatives from a generalist perspective while primarily leading employee relations, performance management, and engagement in each location as a daily partner, trusted confidant, and colleague advocate.
**What You'll Do**
- Provide guidance and advice to the client groups regarding employment related issues, succession planning
- Interpretation of company policies & procedures, performance management, terminations, strategic planning, training & development.
- Provide necessary documentation to support people changes, performance management and progressive discipline in partnership with peers and leadership team
- Support the delivery and deployment of HR programs and processes and participate in coaching and guiding in HR initiatives (Performance Management, Compensation, Succession Planning, Engagement Survey, and the Performance Review Cycle)
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team and the business to support the staffing needs of the client which may include screening, interviewing, offers and reference checking
- Analyze KPI’s with respect to wages, turnover, diversity, performance etc. and make recommendations to support the business
- Contribute to continuous improvement & best practices to influence human resources strategies
- Ensure that the interests of colleagues and company are considered in accordance with HR policies and applicable government laws and regulations - i.e.: ESA, Human Rights Code, Pandemic Planning
**What You'll Need**
- Equivalent combination of education and human resources experience; achievement of CHRP designation or post graduate degree preferred
- 3 to 5 years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated knowledge in client relationship management
- Proficiency in an HRIS and Microsoft Suite, with strong analytic and report building skills
- Ability to work toward a future vision/state without having all necessary details
- Ability to interact with all levels with comprehensive consultative, partnering, facilitating, and influencing/negotiating skills
- Strong integrity with ability to maintain confidentiality
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated, self-starter, requiring little direction
- Reliable vehicle
- Travel within GTA required
