Our client in the non-profit sector is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Advisor for a temporary assignment. This leadership role oversees recruitment and staffing, manages employee relations, and administers compensation and benefits programs. You will also support labour relations activities and contribute to a range of HR initiatives that advance organizational goals. Qualifications More than 5 years of progressive experience in human resources management within the public, broader public, and/or not-for-profit sectors. Experience working in a unionized environment, including handling labour relations matters and conducting investigations. Strong understanding of Ontario employment legislation, including the Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and related labour laws. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
