**N A T U RE OF WOR K**:
This position is responsible for leading and coordinating technical business support activities within the Department including GIS programming, centralized irrigation control (ICC) programming & operation, Geotab data configuration, work order management, service request coordination, and implementation of business technology solutions for the department.
The position participates as a member of the leadership team and works with colleagues to ensure accurate data delivery for business management operations and service-level standards. This position reports to the Coordinator, Parks Support Operations.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:
Typically, the knowledge, skills and abilities required are obtained through the completion of a Degree in Computer Science, Commerce (BBA) or other related discipline; combined with three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in the development and implementation of new technologies and software solutions. Three (3) to (5) years experience in Parks and Open Space service delivery including the development of data management for KPI development and work consistency is, as well as Knowledge of Parks & Open Space Services is considered an asset.

Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver License Work is performed primarily in an office environment
