**Veterinary Receptionist / Assistant**

**Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist / Assistant to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clinic, the Veterinary Receptionist / Assistant plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our clients and ensuring smooth operations within the clinic.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet clients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic's calendar
- Check-in and check-out clients, process payments, and maintain accurate records
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Coordinate communication between clients, veterinary staff, and other team members
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room
- Provide support to Veterinarian as needed
- Assisting Vet in diagnostics, surgeries and other hospital related duties.
- Completing the tasks assigned by the Vet.

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and experience with veterinary software systems
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners

**Laboratory Skills (Nice-to-have)**:
Experience or familiarity with laboratory procedures in a veterinary setting would be advantageous.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
