Steveston Veterinary Hospital in beautiful British Columbia, Canada, is seeking an experienced veterinary receptionist who will be responsible for providing customer service for our fast paced, 3.5 doctor clinic. SVH has been family run for over 40 years and believes in providing high-quality medical care for our patients while also serving our clients with great customer service.

**JOB POSITION**: Veterinary Receptionist

**TYPE**: Full time 40 hours/week

Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays if required)

**STARTING SALARY**: $20-24- depending on experience

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum 1 year working in a veterinary hospital OR
- Minimum 1 year working as a receptionist OR
- Veterinary Office Diploma

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Ability to work in a face paced, sometime stressful environment
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to create and maintain client relationships
- Professional telephone manners
- Self motivated individual, able to work well on your own and in team environment
- Reliable, punctual
- Able to handle case sensitive information and procedures such as euthanasia
