**Shipping Manager**

Seeking Shipping Manager responsible for overseeing daily shipping and packing operations. Duties include using software to track, check, prioritize and route orders, managing important shipping documents such as Packing slips, bills of lading etc., directing the flow of merchandise from preparation to shipment, inspecting completed orders, supervising subordinates, collaborating with other managers, resolving order-related issues, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies, and reporting activities and issues to management.

**Skills/Qualifications/Education**:

- Minimum of a High School Diploma, with preference given to those with a relevant Technical Degree
- Must have ability to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Must be able to manage/dispatch/schedule two company trucks
- Team Player with a positive attitude and a willingness to work towards achieving high levels of production and quality
- Good written and spoken English and French skills
- Intermediate to Moderate experience in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Must have attention to details & excellent time management skills
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in Shipping/Fulfillment
- Knowledge of couriers - FedEx, Purolator, etc. and shipping experience in Freight considered an asset.
- Establish work schedules and procedures
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
- Prepare and/or submit reports
- Resolve work related problems
- Train workers in duties and policies
- Co-ordinate, assign and review work
- Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
- Shift will be 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday
- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work

**Salary**: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
