**Warehouse Supervisor**

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be reporting to the General Manager and will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities such as receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn. You are a professional multitasker, able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time.

**Specific areas of required expertise include**
- Plan, coordinate and oversee all daily operations of the warehouse, including pick pack ship processes, delivery compliance, receiving of goods and repackaging, storage, invoicing and customer returns.
- Maximize productivity by effectively allocating available resources to successfully process the daily work volume while assuring shipping schedules are met with a minimum of overtime and within company standards
- Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy.
- Exercise critical thinking and problem-solving daily.
- Use best practices to ensure operations are run smoothly, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
- Ensure a rigorous monitoring of inventories, orders and that product rotation is done according to established standards (FIFO).
- Ensure that health and safety procedures are adhered to.
- Respect and instill the respect of the rules established in Health and safety, in hygiene, in sanitation, food handling, Canada GAP and Ecocert at all times.
- Ensure incoming shipments from suppliers are inspected and meet quality standards including documentation compliance.
- Keep teams up to date with daily operational issues, priorities, and tasks
- Hire temporary laborers and monitor employees job performances, coach, motivate, and discipline as necessary.
- Responsible for inventory integrity through cycle counts
- Comprehend and administer all relevant policies and procedures in a fair & consistent manner
- Support implementation of policies and procedures
- Manage preventative maintenance program, inspections and monitoring of handling and storage equipment, including cooling system.
- Responsible for employee discipline and timecard management.

**SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED**
- Min 2 - 3 years of experience in a similar position (in shipping and warehouse management, operational day to day management)
- Min 2 years of experience managing hourly employees
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience using SAP and warehouse management systems (asset)
- Experience in the food industry, with awareness of food safety (asset)
- Demonstrate superior sense of health and safety workplace compliance as well as the sanitation practices in place
- Possess a sense of responsibility, self-reliance, and resourcefulness
- Be a leader, a good communicator, problem solver and decision maker
- Possess excellent organization and time-management skills
- High ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary functional teams and different department along with the ability to build strong business relationship
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
- Bilingual: French and English, spoken and written.
- High School diploma or equivalent, college degree in Supply Chain & Logistics, Operations Management, or any other relevant combination of education and experience is preferred
- Food Safety/Security - Works in compliance with all applicable Food Safety policies and procedures as set out by CDS and relevant legislation including HACCP regulations.
- Valid license to operate forklift and electric jigger (asset)
