You are also looking to expand your accounting skills in a supportive team environment and want to help create effective communication of operational challenges to help drive processes and tool evolution. **The Role**
- Serve as primary contact for supplier invoicing including responding to requests and inquiries
- Accountable for timely processing supplier invoices in the ERP system including accurate GL coding, matching with purchase orders and receiving reports and ensuring all invoices have been properly approved
- Resolve any invoice issues including price and quantity discrepancies
- Maintain electronic filing system for all invoices and related documents
- Reconcile supplier accounts, AP subledger and PO clearing account
- Responsible for opening and distributing mail, printing supplier cheques, and depositing customer payments

**What You Bring**
- 1-3 years experience in an accounts payable role
- Post-secondary education in accounting or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at an advanced level
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to assist where needed
- Good organization, time management and prioritizing abilities
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to interact with internal and external clients
- Excellent data entry skills including both speed and accuracy
- Experience working with ERP systems and purchase orders would be considered an asset
