**Shift**:7.5 Hour Rotating Shifts Days/Evenings/Weekends/On-Call

**Summary**:
To function as a member of the surgical team by providing clinical and environmental support for assigned patients. This includes transportation of patients and supplies, assisting with patient care, cleaning duties and other functions. Responsible for the set up and flow of each surgical theatre, preparing the room and sterile supplies for efficient patient care thus facilitating the needs of surgical team by assisting the Nurses, Surgeons, and Anesthetists on a case by case basis. Contribute to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- CPR is mandatory
- OR Attendant or Asepsis course is mandatory
- MDRD Certification
- One year recent experience in an Operating Room is an asset
- Demonstrated collaboration and communication skills with all staff
- Ability to both take direction and work independently
- Ability to work in a physically demanding area that requires heavy lifting
- Time management and prioritization skills
