**The role**:
The Recruiter will assist in executing all recruiting and training activities for our Brampton terminal and any future terminals in Ontario. Responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, promoting health and safety initiatives, and assisting with the administration of benefits.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take a lead role with recruitment and interviewing
- Conduct new hire orientation and manage on boarding process including tracking training checklists
- Establishing a working knowledge of all roles and responsibilities in the operation
- Participate in location’s Health & Safety committee and ensure safety compliance
- Assist HR Coordinator in administering benefit plans to employees
- Maintaining open and positive communication with the VP of Human Resources

**Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Abilities**:

- Human Resources Degree or Diploma is a requirement.
- Holding or currently working towards CHRP designation is a requirement.
- 1-2 years of experience recruiting.
- High Volume recruiting experience is an asset.
- Well organized with the ability to multi-task.
- Good computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office and data entry software is a **strong asset**.
- Ability to meet deadlines with high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
