North Vancouver, Canada Ignition Marine Service Full time

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and the service department.
- Provide accurate **technical estimates for marine repairs and services**, including mechanical, electrical, and structural work.
- Prepare and manage detailed **job quotes, work orders, and final invoices**.
- Coordinate with **project managers, technicians, and parts department** to ensure timely job completion.
- Schedule service appointments and marina arrangements (dockage, haul-outs, etc.).
- Track service progress, provide updates to customers, and manage expectations.
- Review completed work orders for accuracy and completeness before final invoicing.
- Assist in warranty claims and documentation, as required.
- Maintain records of customer interactions, parts used, and service timelines.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a **Service Advisor, Service Writer, or Estimator** in the **marine industry** (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of marine mechanical, electrical, and structural systems.
- Familiarity with **marine parts and equipment**, including engines, propulsion systems, and onboard electronics.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with service management software, estimating tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, repair manuals, and job specifications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with marina logistics (dockage, haul-outs, etc.) is a plus.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
