**Retail Analyst (Consumer Goods, Work-Flex)**

Our client, a leading Over-the-counter (OTC) and Health & Beauty (HABA) Distributor, located in Markham, ON is looking to hire an experienced Retail Analyst to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Retail Analyst will work in partnership with Key Account Managers on promotional and marketing plans, and will be responsible for; running weekly POS and promotional reports from retailer sites including ad-hoc reports as requested, compiling insights from data, completing retailer planogram/modular submission forms, completing retailer and internal item setups, and liaising with retail buying teams to manage day to day business.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide Sales & Promotion reporting and analysis (weekly, monthly, adhoc)
- Lead promotional planning, submissions, analysis and ad confirmation (flyers, deals, displays)
- Monitor Planogram/Modular submissions, delist recommendations, markdowns, sampling, forecasting
- Complete item setup and maintenance (new item creation, cost changes, UPC changes, and packaging updates)
- Provide overall account coordination and management in partnership with internal and external teams (Key Account Manager, Sales Reps, Buyers, replenishment, logistics, finance, order desk)

**EDUCATION**:

- Post-secondary education

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 3-5 years business analysis experience, preferably with a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) organization
- Experience with retail portals (Retail link, Top Shelf/Precima, Toolbox, IRI, Nielsen)
- Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
