**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Director, HR & Corporate Services, this role will lead the HR systems team and ownership for the HRIS. The incumbent is accountable for overseeing HR administration of the employee lifecycle and is responsible for reporting employee data analytics and metrics. The incumbent will be responsible for the development and implementation of the HRIS modules and enhancements, including streamlining processes and procedures to enable efficient administration for the business, and self-service.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Lead the efforts to maximize HRIS system capability and other HR related systems to build an HRIS infrastructure capable of supporting the continued growth of the business and ensuring internal processes are efficient and effective.
- Management of day-to-day activities to support HR and other related functions
- Manage projects associated with implementing new functionality and/or enhancements to existing HR systems including requirements analysis and documentation, testing and deployment change management
- Participates in and ensures that all GTAA compliance requirements and audits for HRIS and related systems are met
- Promotes proactive approaches using HRIS to solve business needs/problems, enhances the understanding and acceptance of the HRIS capabilities by directing, researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws and recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
- Lead the HR employee and data analytics/reporting function in the management of day-to-day activities to support HR and other related functions
- Own and drive reporting automation through the development, ongoing refinement and embedding of HR metric dashboard across the organization to support the business
- Lead people by providing coaching, guidance, and development by providing meaningful feedback for personal and career growth

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in Business, Commerce or related field
- CHRL designation is an asset
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of HR System Development and/or HRIS analyst experience. Must have thorough understanding of the Human Resource function
- Minimum of 5 years people leadership experience
- 10+ years of experience in HR Systems specifically UKG preferred
- Able to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position

- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

The GTAA is a federally regulated private sector. The Government of Canada has suspended mandatory vaccination requirement for federally regulated transportation sector workers. The GTAA continues to monitor government and health developments relating to COVID -19 and may re-introduce the Vaccination and proof of Vaccination requirements in the Policy at any time.
