About the Role
**Schedule**: Full time, Permanent, working a hybrid office model.
**Position Reports To**: Director, HR
**Position Overview**:
Reporting directly to the Director, Human Resources, the Manager, HR Projects & Systems, supports the execution of the People Strategy and ensures that the human resource program, supports the long-term goals of the People plan for Business Units across the organization. This role oversees the full range of Human Resources including: HRIS, payroll, employee and leadership development, KPI’s, engagement and company-wide programs. This position involves close collaboration with employees, leaders and site HR teams.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Leads the development and execution of HR programs (project plan development, kick off meetings, status updates and implementation debriefs).
Coordinates updates within Corporate HR Team and HR site teams regarding progress against People Strategy initiatives (e.g. Manager Training, New Gold Academy, Success Factors, HR Central, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Survey etc.).
Leads “HR Year in Review” process which highlights Key KPIs related to programs (i.e. participation, employee feedback)
Acts as the main point of contact regarding HRIS design and implementation (eg SF Employee Central and works with external HRIS business analyst)
Validation of the semi-monthly Corporate employee payroll
Conducts post implementation audits after HR program launches
Proactively identifies process improvements and provides recommendations for improvement.
Supports establishment of Departmental Goals and tracks progress on a monthly basis
Supports year end compensation process
Develops, reviews and revises program policies and procedures
Provides advice and counsel on updating and interpreting programs
Develops and maintains good working relationships with internal stakeholders in support of the People programs
Applies business acumen and HR expertise to develop solutions and provide advice to business partners; executing with excellence to proactively deliver integrated results
Supports coaching of Senior Total Rewards Specialist and HR Coordinator
Works with Director HR with establishing objectives and tracks progress
Monitor internal HR systems and databases
Leads the annual budget review process and approves or modify budgets, and creates detailed reports on HR costs
Design and implement company policies based on labour market changes
Address employees’ queries (e.g. on compensation and labor regulations)
Lead with a one-company mindset to drive safety and operational excellence.

**Qualifications**:
Strong project management experience
Experience using HRIS systems, SAP, Success Factors and SharePoint
Experience working with inhouse and outsourced payroll systems provider
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on relationship management.
Ability to create project plans for complex projects with many interrelated paths.
Action oriented, self-motivated, and solutions driven.
Develop and maintain a professional relationship with employees by ensuring a sense of confidentiality, mutual trust, concern, respect, and teamwork
Able to demonstrate organization skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in an environment with competing demands and deadlines
