Law Clerk/legal Assistant

**For maternity leave contract. Starting approximately February, 2025 - April, 2026.**

Must have at least 4 years plaintiff personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice Law Clerk Experience.

Basic knowledge of Accident Benefits claims, including forms, coverage, procedure, filing etc.

Must have program knowledge in PC Law, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Tracument, Speechpro Exec Dictation, PDF.

Must be knowledgeable of the Rules of Civil Procedure, including limitation dates and timelines, fees, filing of documents, Caselines, Undertakings, requesting and providing productions, scheduling Motions accordingly including drafting Motion Records, filing of same, confirmation of same etc.

Administrative duties including answering the telephone, speaking with clients, scanning and faxing documents, ordering office supplies, retrieving and sending mail, filing/organization, booking appointments, scheduling Examinations for Discovery/Mediation/Pre-Trial/Trial etc.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 14 months

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
