**Summary of Responsibilities for Accounts Payable Clerk**:
Overall responsibilities will be to provide support to the Finance team by ensuring accounting records are completed in a timely, accurate and compliant manner; focusing on general accounting duties to maintain the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger. The Accounting Clerk is a point of contact for vendors.

It is expected that this position will conduct business with the best interest of Wilcox Group of Companies in mind while following strong ethical and accounting principles.

**Responsibilities include but not limited to**:
1. Responsible for accurate entry of vendor invoices; including any foreign exchange calculations and allocation of ledger account

2. Collect, review and communicate with both vendors and internal team on variances between Purchase Order and Invoice.

3. Ensure that accounts payables invoices, credit card receipts and employee reimbursements are accurate, properly coded and authorized for payment

4. Maintain and manage stock levels of office supplies

5. General office management (facilities, maintenance etc)

6. Investigating billing and receiving errors, communication with vendors and customers to correct errors.

7. Assist the Controller as required.

**Job Knowledge or Work Experience**:

- 3 years in a similar role
- Knowledge of GAAP, ASPE, and bookkeeping principles and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various accounting software
- MRP software an asset

**Education**:

- Post-secondary education in Business Administration or Accounting
- Occasional lifting required (e.g. deliveries, forms)
- Regular working schedule, day shift
- May be required to work outside of normal working days and hours

**Salary**: $48,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
