We are experiencing continuous growth and have an immediate opening for the **Buyer** position working remotely and/or hybrid in our head office located in Richmond BC.

The Buyer is responsible for the negotiation and purchasing of general products and services at the most favourable business terms for The Peak Group of Companies. Key Responsibilities and Qualifications include, but are not limited to the following:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Negotiate the lowest overall cost and most favorable business terms for the purchase of general products and services used in the business (such as manufacturing and distribution consumables, equipment, freight, supplies, pallets, cardboard, printed materials, raw materials etc.).
- Ensure that the quality of the products and services delivered match the agreed upon specifications.
- Continuously grow and strengthen the supplier network for general products and services.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

**Experience, Traits and Qualifications**
- 8 - 10 years of experience in a similar role with solid experience in purchasing general products and services for business operations.
- A seasoned buyer who takes pride in negotiating great deals.
- Possess sound communication skills, demonstrate promptness, professionalism, and courtesy at all times.
- A resourceful, solution-driven, and confident self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability who is willing to “roll up the sleeves” to tackle the details.
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results.
