We are experiencing continuous growth and have an immediate opening for the **Buyer** position working either in our Richmond, BC headquarters, our Richmond Hill, ON offices, our Calgary, AB offices, or remotely.

The Buyer is responsible for the negotiation and purchasing of finished products, raw materials and components utilized in our manufacturing operations, and services, at the most favourable business terms for The Peak Group of Companies. Key Responsibilities and Qualifications include:
**Key Responsibilities**

1. Negotiate the lowest overall cost and most favorable terms for the procurement of finished products relating to our 20 major product lines and 1,000 SKU’s; raw materials and components utilized in our manufacturing operations; and, transportation and other services.

2. Ensure that the quality of the products and services delivered match the agreed upon specifications.

3. Continuously grow and strengthen the supplier network for products and services.

**Experience, Traits and Qualifications**

1. 10 years of experience in a buyer role with broad experience in purchasing finished products, inputs for manufacturing operations, and transportation services.

2. A seasoned buyer who takes pride in negotiating great deals.

3. Possess sound communication skills, demonstrate promptness, professionalism, and courtesy, at all times.

4. A resourceful, solution-driven, and confident self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, who is a team players and willing to “roll up the sleeves”, tackle the details, and get the job done.

5. Occasional travelling required.

6. Possess an entrepreneurial drive and continuously innovate to achieve great results.
