SOC Analyst

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled SOC Analyst to join our team and contribute to maintaining the security of our organization's systems and data. We are a growing German company and are looking to expand our market into the Canadian market.
**Responsibilities**
- 24x7 monitoring of security alarms and events in the SOC console
- Responsibility for the implementation of threat hunting activities and incident response
- Cooperative collaboration with customers and manufacturers in forensic investigations
- Joint development and optimization of playbooks, SIEM rules and dashboards
- Creation of reports and documentation on security incidents
**Experience**
- Bachelors degree in IT or a comparable qualification
- at least 2 years of work experience in IT security, preferably in a SOC environment
- Expertise in incident response and threat hunting
- Experience in vulnerability management
- Practical experience with an EDR-Tool (FortiEDR, SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, etc.)
- Practical experience with FortiAnalyzer and FortiSIEM is advantageous
- Flexibility for on-call duties outside business hours
