Security Analyst

**We're seeking an IT Security Analyst to join us**

**About the role**:
A successful IT Security Analyst will provide Business and IT Security analysis services for stakeholders. The Security Analyst will work with various teams to uncover security and compliance requirements, gap analysis and work on IT security projects & initiatives.

**Here's what you'll do**:

- Provides security analyst services for PayByPhone teams
- Works with Corporate IT and Development to ensure PBP is compliant
- Participates in business and technical security requirements
- Contributes and supports compliance evidence collection and monitoring
- Maintains and enhances operational security controls
- Monitors environment for information security concerns.
- Participates in incident response planning and execution
- Works with Technology group on Security projects
- Contributes to the company's ISMS, documenting information security policies and processes
- Security Operation Centre (SOC) - provides first level response to security alerts

**The must-haves**:

- 2 to 5+ years' experience in a similar role
- Experience in General IT projects and common technologies related to security, antivirus, firewalls, and web filtering
- Windows Environments - Server and Desktop
- Linux experience a big plus
- Scripting or programming skills
- AWS Cloud Knowledge
- Post-secondary education or combination of experience and capability
- Certifications in A+, Network+, Security+, CISSP, PCIP would be an asset

**Success** **in this role looks like**:

- Understand our current state of security controls and operations during probation
- Able to respond to end user security concerns and questions
- Able to conduct a risk assessment
- Participates in technical IT security projects and owns tasks responsibly
- Actively contribute to PBP Compliance activities
- Monitors, Maintains and Enhances security awareness tools
