Westvac has three divisions carrying an extensive product line, including heavy duty lifts, automotive lifts, wheel servicing equipment, Hydro-excavators, Street Sweepers, Garbage Trucks, Fire Apparatus and a variety of other equipment.

**Lift Technician - Surrey, BC**

Westvac is looking for a highly motivated and dependable full-time Lift/Hoist Technician. The right individual would be responsible for maintaining, inspection, and servicing our customer's automotive lifts/hoists, wheel servicing equipment, and other garage equipment. This includes installations and equipment deliveries/training. This position requires accuracy with paperwork, the ability to sort and maintain an accurate stock level on a service vehicle and have the ability to troubleshoot problems in the field. A company service vehicle (for work purposes only) will be provided along with a laptop and cell phone.

This position will be based out of our Surrey location servicing automotive and HD maintenance garages throughout British Columbia. The position will cover the lines Stertil-Koni Lifts, Challenger Lifts, Bodyguard Imaging System, Balcrank, and others. Westvac services all makes and models

**Qualifications**
- Experience as a remote technician
- Experience with lifts/hoists is a large plus
- Experience with alignment machines, tire changers, and wheel balancers is a large plus.
- Ability to read and decipher electrical wiring diagrams
- Knowledge of pneumatics and pneumatic systems
- Knowledge of hydraulics and hydraulic systems
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Mechanical aptitude
- Millwright experience would be an asset
- Read, write and speak fluent English
- Class 5 Drivers License with clean abstract
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test

**Salary information**

$27 - $34 Hourly Wage (Dependent on experience)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $27.00-$34.00 per hour
