**Overview**
The Event Lead/Staffing Manager will oversee the planning, staffing, scheduling, and execution of events. This role requires a dynamic individual with a background in food, beverage, and hospitality, who thrives in both office and on-site environments. You will manage event staff, coordinate logistics, and act as the primary point of contact for clients during events.

**Responsibilities**
**Event Lead**:

- Supervise and guide on-site staff during event execution.
- Act as the main point of contact for all event-related inquiries and issues.
- Oversee setup, event flow, and breakdown to ensure all aspects meet quality and

timeline expectations.
- Address and resolve any issues or last-minute changes in a professional and efficient

manner.

**Staffing Management**:

- Recruit, train, and schedule event staff (servers, bartenders, chefs, etc.).
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching as needed.
- Maintain a pool of qualified on-call staff for last-minute needs.

Scheduling:

- Develop and maintain detailed staff schedules for each event.
- Ensure proper coverage and manage last-minute changes or substitutions.
- Coordinate staff availability and time-off requests to optimize workforce planning.

Office Responsibilities:

- Create event timelines, staffing plans, and checklists.
- Communicate event details to staff and ensure everyone is aligned.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas of improvement.

**Requirements**:
**Experience**:Minimum 2 years in event management, catering, or hospitality.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field

preferred (or equivalent experience). Smart Serve certification.

**Skills**:
○ Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

○ Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.

○ Ability to thrive under pressure in fast-paced environments.

○ Knowledge of food safety and service standards.
- Flexibility: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to travel to various event sites.
